Umpires

Palmerston Crocs has a long history of supporting developing umpires as they work towards national accreditation, and this is something we actively work to continue.  In 2020, many Crocs were part of the first ever Green Shirt Program to be offered in the NT at Palmerston Netball Association.  We've seen many Crocs work towards and achieve their National C Badge accreditation and many more continuing to nominate as umpires.

The success of our Crocs "Team White" comes down to team work, support and resources.  As well as regular umpire workshops each season, Palmerston Crocs umpires have access to our Umpire Handbook.  Full of tips and reminders to help them on their journey, the handbook is a useful tool for experienced and beginner umpires alike.  In the handbook you'll find information about where to start, equipment, and attributes of a quality umpire, as well as reminders about before, starting and during game play.  Umpires are also given tips on conflict resolution, suggested pathways towards accreditation, and a bank of quality resources to enhance their umpire careers.

To grab your copy of the Umpire Handbook, get in touch with the club today and find out how you can join Palmerston Crocs' Team White!
